I always associate Brevitts with those sandals in the 1948 ad, I had no idea they made such fabulously glam designs, too. A dolls's head? I want to see it! x
What gorgeous shoes- so lovely to see the authentic original designs and how great that Miss L Fire, Schuh and even New Look at times have found ways to re-create the look with comfort built in! (Well, maybe not New Look for comfort?!...)

Thank you for this, it was fascinating! I'm a big fan of wedges with my flat feet and general rush around lifestyle.

Great article ...love shoes which aren't 8 inch heels as all new ones seem to be!
